Google Sheets cannot read statement PDFs, but it imports CSV perfectly. Convert the PDF to CSV here, then import it into Sheets.
Convert the statement PDF to CSV with the tool above, then in Google Sheets use File, then Import, then Upload, and choose the CSV. Each transaction lands on its own row with Date, Description, Amount, Debit, Credit and Balance in separate columns.
Pasting from a PDF merges columns and wraps descriptions across rows. The CSV route keeps the table structure, and the converter reconciles the transactions against the statement before export.
These are the general steps most banks follow for statement downloads; exact menu labels vary by bank and change over time.

Where the statement prints opening and closing (or running) balances, the converter adds up the extracted transactions and compares the result with the statement itself.
